Koushirou Izumi was born to two wonderful parents who loved them and cared about him very much. They died in a car crash about a year later and his custody was given to fairly distant relatives who brought him up as their own. When he found out about this accidentally, his little world came tumbling down around him. It was about the same time that he first became interested in computers. Over the next number of years, he drew further and further away from his adopted parents and into his own world constructed of 1’s and 0’s. He felt rather low because of his deep secret, and started treating almost everyone as being more important than him when addressing them directly.
It wasn’t until the digital world that everything changed.
For the first time in his life, he really had to put aside studying and computing in order to work as a team with six, then seven other children, and their partner digimon. Being part of that team started him socializing more, making closer friends, and started him on a whole new path, though computers still remained very important. It was during this time that his parents also told him the truth, and started all three on the path to healing and truly becoming a family.
Now, Koushirou has grown up into a young man. He is still introverted, intelligent, and prefers programming to partying, but he loves his friends, both human and digital (almost) just as much. A full-time student, he studies hard by day, but still makes room for his friends and other interests whenever he can.
